Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Lewis' Napa Cabernet from the 2010 vintage shows lots of classic character reflecting the small collection of vineyards in Calistoga, Rutherford and Oak Knoll from which it is crafted. Complex aromas of pencil lead, tar, mineral and tobacco leaf are woven around plum fruit and currants with sweet mocha spices. Fruitful and focused on entry the palate picks up minerality and muscle with classic dusty tannins and semi-sweet chocolate. 1,400 cases produced. Not yet reviewed; 2009 vintage rated 94 points by Wine Spectator: Turns up the volume in an agreeable way. Ripe and layered, boasting bold dark berry flavors and subtler notes of cedar, vanilla, mocha and melted chocolate that are pure, focused, persistent and well-structured. Drink now through 2022. 1,700 cases made.

Lewis Cellars:
In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.

Beautifully proportioned, with a rich mix of currant, blackberry, dried herb, mocha, cedar and tobacco flavors. This is also very tightly structured, worthy of a long decant or short-term cellaring. Best from 2014 through 2026. -JL Wine Spectator. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from California in USA. 2010 Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 750ml
