Lewis Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Mason's 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

Lots of sweet and savory oak spices enter the ring first with a burst of ripe cherry-berry fruit that is laced with chocolate and a little licorice. The wine has a compact build with healthy muscle and youthful tannin. 800 cases produced. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 91 points by Wine Spectator: Fancy oak is evident, and this is firmly tannic, with the oak providing a toasty, cedary mocha edge and the tannins cloaked around a tight mix of dark berry. Ends with cedary, woodsy notes. Drink now through 2022.

Lewis Cellars:
In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.
