A nice comeback after the disappointing 2009 blend. Which I thought lacked depth and power. The 2010 has the Cabernet return as the dominant varietal in the blend. Good structure and a nice finish. Cheers!
47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 21% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Franc. Made by one of Napa's most powerful wine couples, Andy Erickson (Screaming Eagle, Hartwell, Dalla Valle) and viticulturist Anie Favia (Abreu and Screaming Eagle). This red blend exhibits powerful, rich, intense and ripe masses of fruit and a forceful personality. Fans of classically ripe sweet blends will dig this, big time. The Cab is structure. The Merlot is freshness and acid. The Syrah adds darkness and power and texture.
