Food Pairings for Leth Roter Veltliner
External Reviews for Leth Roter Veltliner
The Leth Winery is one of the leading examples of terroir and expression in the Wagram. The Leth family is repected for their work sustaining indigenous varieties: they have collected approximately 150 native Austrian grape varieties and have planted them in Austria's first living grape variety museum. Most of these have almost died out, others having never gained any major recognition, and a few have never been cultivated in practice. Today, Franz Leth Jr. has reinvented the winery through modernization, dense planting, and a pledge to sustainable viticulture. This 100% Roter Veltliner is aged for 6 months in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to create an aromatic, refreshing white wine.
