This smells of tomatoes, herbs, strawberries and green spices; a lovely combination of fruity and savory. Soft up front then turning nicely edgy with acidity that just pokes through the base of red currant, tomato and watermelon fruit on the palate. There’s a slight tinge of tannin as well, making this a bit grippy. That grip lingers over the fairly long, black currant-toned finish. Not terribly fruity but this is a rosé for grown-ups. 90pts
