Very bony now, with piercing orange blossom, chamomile and white peach notes backed by a nervy spine. Long, tangy finish shows a yellow apple hint. Best from 2009 through 2012.

Big and bold, this thrives on rich, dense flavors of white peach, floral honey and poached pear. Itrsquo;s a warm and wintry white, impressive for its powerful depth and broadly expansive mass-the flavors seem to reverberate in the finish. Like all of Jolyrsquo;s wines, this should be decanted before drinking to allow the concentrated and tightly knit flavors to develop fully.

The Clos de la Bergerie vineyard is within the famous Roches aux Moines appellation of the Loire Valley. This white is somewhat reminiscent of the great Coulée de Serrants but is made in a more moderate style yet still boasting a more oxidative type of winemaking.
