Add your reviewGot this at a hypermarket clearance sale, my first Sauternes. Dont know what to say really. Being from 2003 I expected it to be pretty strong smelling and on the nose I got alcohol & honey and a hint of oak perhaps but no fruit especially apricot notes. On the palate it was thick, rich in sweetness with a strong Port-ish after taste but apart from that it was pretty one dimensional, still no Apricots. I guess my quest for Sauternes will only get better from here, I finished the entire half bottle but it was nothing spectacular.
