It was smooth, but I didn't think the finish was particularly strong (sorry Jancis!).

Taking on a nice aged Bordeaux character. Smokey with hints of vanilla in the nose. Good acid and earthy character. Nice long finish.

Bright and plummy on the nose, with a hint of raisins. Full-bodied and very ripe, with firm tannins and a medium finish. Needs bottle age. Second wine of Ch?teau Pontet-Canet. Best after....
