This cheap Corbières which is relatively heavy in the better ingredients (Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre) has a bright cherry nose subdued by dark plum and a touch of spice. Palate-wise, the mouth-feel is not harsh, and more plum rests on the tongue with a medium finish; a competent wine for under 10 dollars; drink now. 83 points.

Nice, easy drinking rose. Soft cherry and a bit of watermelon on the nose. Bit of acidity gives it brightness, good balance.

I loved this wine; with its Medium/light body, berry/fruity flavors, and economical price tag, it is absolutely perfect to drink with anything. Smooth wine. Fantastic buy.

Pop and pour, tested at 70 deg F. Strong and rustic wine, good for hearty fare. Dusty grippy nose of dark fruit, wet stone and herbs. Sharp acid at the front of the mouth followed by flavors of ripe, intense, neutral dark fruit (deep plum, red berries, elderberry), meaty-gamey tastes, some peppery spices, evident tannin, smokey notes, bitter herb (might be a sage, or tea). Integration is just OK, not sure age will help, tastes more like a mix than a whole. Finishes of fruit and sweet wood, which fade and leave a slightly bitter aftertaste at the end of the tongue (someone said black tea - perfect). Will see what some air time does and repost if notable changes. Dryish. Body medium plus, acid medium plus, tannin medium. 40% grenache, 30% syrah, 20% mourvedre, 10% carignan. 13% abv. Good QPR.

If you're looking for a new, all-purpose, everyday house/table/picnic wine, this is it! Medium- to light- bodied and very smooth, with lush, dark berry fruit flavors and a touch of dusty earth just to keep things interesting. Incredibly easy to drink, and extremely versatile - this can be paired with burgers off the grill, Mexican food, chili or sandwiches, or enjoyed on its own. Great buy!

Jammy, with good concentration to the blueberry and raspberry flavors. Shows notes of roasted meat on the finish. Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignane. Drink now.
