Best Blackberry liquor of any kind I have ever tasted. Not too sweet, not too harsh with excellent blackberry flavor for a 100 proof brandy. Perfect for straight shots or mixed drinks. I hope I never purchase a perfume or plastic flavored bottle. I would just take it back and exchange the bottle if it tasted funky.
We really liked this Jezynowka. Lately, though, we get bottles that either taste like plastic or taste like perfume. Does anyone else have this comment? I wonder if it has something to do with how they bottle it. We are in Wisconsin. Lately our hit rate for bad bottles is 4 to 1.

THE BEST BLACKBERRY FLAVORED BRANDY, GREAT FOR RELIEF OF A SORE THROAT.
IT'S BEEN MY FAVORITE BLACKBERRY ALL MY LIFE AND I,M 70 IT'S NOT SO SWEET LIKE OTHERS AND IT REALLY HAS A TRUE FRUIT FLAVOR! VERY GOOD FOR SOUR STOMACH AND SORE THROAT AND ALSO JUST A GOOD SIPPING BRANDY, ESPECILLAY IN THE WINTER TO WARM YOU!
See my reply above ! THE RECIPE MUST HAVE CHANGED!!! IT IS NOW HORRIBLE!!!! Never thought I would say this about my ex-favorite brandy
It's unfortunate that a domestic product pretending to be a true product results in a negative view of an otherwise excellent brandy. The only true Jeznowka is the Bak's brand imported from Poland. The LeRoux brand is watery-thin, alcohol-spiked kool-aid by comparison. Unfortunately, Bak's is difficult to find. Do a web search. Jeznowka is best kept and served directly from the freezer. Enjoy.
