Winemaker notes: Beautiful dark color. An initial nose of bright, ripe red cherry, strawberries, and cedar evolves to high tone florals and perfectly ripe, black cherries with time in the glass. This is a well structured, viscous vine with amazing palate weight for sangiovese. The wines incredible purity of fruit is what inspires us to pursue sangiovese so relentlessly. We certainly feel our efforts are paying off. Vineyards in this Wine Pepper Bridge, Seven Hills Vineyard, and Mill Creek Upland Vineyard all of Walla Walla Valley. Aging Profile Aged for 13 months in American and French oak puncheons Blending Detail Sangiovese 77%, Syrah 17%, Cabernet Sauvignon 6% Production Seven Hundred and twenty-three cases produced.
Each of our vineyard solis shape the wine that comes from it. This is the essence of terroir. The soil of Seven Hills at the south end of the Valley is Ellisford Silt Loam.
