Delicious. Drink now or in the next couple years. Tannins are ultra smooth, but the acid is still strong, but not over the top. wine still has a backbone. Very rich plums, dark cherries, cocoa and leather, with a little rose petals. Awesome wine.

Enjoyed this on 11/1/08. Based on Parker's guidelines, 2004 was the outer limit...so I was a bit apprehensive. However, the wine is still fabulous. Great nose, not very flowery, but provocative and distinctive. Full on the palate, light tannins and easy drinking. Went well with the pork dish I had.

Saturated purple color. Herbal and kirsch aromas on the nose. Copious black and blue fruits on entry, then flavors of licorice, graphite, and sweet oak on the back end. Tremendous viscosity coats every inch of the palate, before concluding with a me... Neil Mechanic. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Washington in USA. 2009 Leonetti Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

A deep-pile, plush carpet of a Cabernet, from Washington, this is smooth and velvety, with layer upon layer of juicy blackberry, prune, plum, spice and vanilla flavors that linger beautifully and get richer with each sip. Tempting now, but best from 2002 or so.

Rich, supple and fleshy, a lovely Cabernet that spills over with plum-scented berry and espresso flavors that linger enticingly on the rich, polished finish. The oak is present but not overwhelming. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Drink now through 2010.

Leonetti continues to hit the high marks for itself in this, the 25th vintage. The Walla Walla Cab includes 10% Merlot and small batches of Cab Franc and Carmenère. The astonishing, classic Leonetti aromas of penetrating ripe black fruits, cedar, coffee and chocolate are there in spades, but the overall impression is that the oak has been pulled back just a bit, or perhaps the fruit is just that much riper. Violets and lead pencil continue the stream of sensuous highlights, as the wine winds into its pungent, densely saturated finish.

Our Cabernet is very dark to the rim and has a complex aroma of cinnamon toast, red and black fruits, Christmas spices, nutmeg, coffee, and a hint of gun powder. On the palate it has very long, fine-grained, slightly chalky tannins, perfect acid balance, and a beautiful glycerin feeling that gives it tremendous length in its finish.

Saturated dark black cherry with purple highlights. Moderately full-bodied. Highly extracted. Moderately tannic. Toasted oak, dill, plums, earth, smoke. Smoky, toasty oak nose has rich black fruit accents that follow on the palate. Rich extracted flavors expand to a firm, deliciously toasty finish.
