Leonetti Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley 2000
Vintage Notes: The weather was quite the opposite in 2000 than 1999, with a very warm summer and quite cool harvest season. The result however, was similar to 1999, with long “hang time”, deep color, balanced acidity and tannin, and intense, concentrated fruit flavors. Those who were patient at harvest time (and we were) were rewarded with exceptional fruit. Winemaker notes: Our 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses inky color that is saturated to the rim. The nose is of ripe black fruits, cassis, and balsam fir. The wines abundant tannin hide themselves in the wines excellent balance and long finish. Rich, supple and fleshy, a lovely Cabernet that spills over with plum-scented berry and espresso flavors that linger enticingly on the rich, polished finish. The oak is present but not overwhelming... Wine Spectator. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Washington in USA. 2000 Leonetti Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
