Rich and ripe, packed with beautiful currant and berry flavors, framed with superfine tannins that let the fruit and subtly spicy overtones linger effortlessly on the long finish... Wine Spectator. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Washington in USA. 1999 Leonetti Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

Winemaker Notes As a result of our years of extensive investment and hard work in expanding the acreage of our valley estate vineyards—Seven Hills and Mill Creek Upland Vineyards—our 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon is the first non-Reserve Cab bottling to carry the Walla Walla Valley appellation, rather than the broader Columbia Valley appellation of years past. The payoff is very exciting, as our 1999 Cab is a broodingly dark wine with a wonderful nose of chocolate, mint, cassis, cola, and vanillin. Black fruits and the wines bright acidity dominate the concentrated mouth feel and fine-grained tannins are in perfect balance, backed up with a tremendously long finish. Vineyards in this Wine Seven Hills, Mill Creek Upland, Pepper Bridge, Windrow. 100% Walla Walla Valley vineyards. Blending Detail Cabernet Sauvignon 89.5% Merlot 8.4% Petit Verdot 2.1% Production 2329 cases
