Food Pairings for Leo Hillinger Zweigelt
First impression was of a low quality cab franc or gamay, somewhat musty, gamey and perfumey. However, this wine changed with a bit of air and some food to go with it. Now there's some southern Rhone GSM quality, light tannin, plum and dark cherry. Decent acidity and a bit of that gaminess still present but more in the background.
