Very heavy petrol on the nose with kaffir lime leaf. Subtle spice on the palate with loads of slate minerality. Rather like a mouthful of rocks and not enough fruit for me, to balance it. Not my style. 79 pts. 5/18/13

The 2008 Art Series Riesling gives up a nose of mineral, petrol, acacia, and citrus. Light in body with lively acidity, this tasty effort will evolve for 2-3 years and drink well through 2016. -Jay Miller Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
