Leeuwin Estate Chardonnay Margaret River Art Series 2002

Winemaker's Notes:

Colour is dense and dark with a purple/black core. Succulent and opulent, the nose shows hints of French oak and lifted notes of spicy ripe plums. The palate is silky and seamless, with the oak and vinous components in total harmony. The concentration and complexity of flavours is indicative of the mix of traditional and modern day winemaking techniques used. The wine has a generous structure with super fine tannins and a concentrated finish, great with traditional and game meat dishes and will age for 7 to 10 years.

Now under the direction of two generations of the founding family, the Estate is recognized as one of Australia’s leading wine producers and wine tourism pioneers.
