The 2010 Leese Fitch Chardonnay is a lovely wine that mingles components of the classic Burundian Chardonnays with an American flair. The nose is aloft with ripe citrus, wet river stones, a hint of vanilla cream, and the slight perception of toasted oak. This wine that will pair nicely with a Spinach and fresh Strawberry Salad topped with pine nuts, soft goat cheese and a light raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Or try with Shrimp Scampi with a mango-papaya relish. Looking to pair with a heartier meal? This versatile wine complements nicely with mini lamb pork chops resting in a bed of soft corn polenta, infused with just a touch of sage-browned butter. 80% Chardonnay, 10% Chenin Blanc, 10% Aromatic White Blend (including Riesling, Moscato, Albarino, Vermentino).
