Varietal Cabernet Sauvignon Closure Screw Cap Size 750ml Alc/Vol 13.4% Enjoy Now - 2018 Colour is deep intense red. Intense ripe rich cassis fruit nose with a hint of mint- showing balanced aromatic oak giving spicy cinnamon/vanilla aromas. Full flavoured rich fruit palate with fine long tannins- the palate has excellent richness which reflects the early warmer vintage but still retains the elegance expected from Coonawarra Cabernet. The palate finishes with clean acidity. Very approachable on release; however it has the structure to age beautifully over the next ten years. What the critics read more...

Deep red. Cassis, tinge of black cherry, cedar and cigar box on the nose. Fine tannins, slight spiciness but rather balance and between medium to full bodied. Somehow there is an overpowering earthiness that led to some bitterness. I think cellaring is required for at least 5 - 10 years before drinking. 2006 is a good year for Coonawarra and this wine could have been better. SGD$38
