L'Ecole No. 41 Red Blend Columbia Valley Recess Red 2010
This hearty red wine is in part comprised of the hard press fractionsof each of our vineyard lots, including some of our best vineyardsites. As a result, many customers view this table wine as thebargain from LEcole N 41 (formerly known in the Pacific Northwestas Schoolhouse Red). Winemaker's Notes"A fun, drink-me now table wine with fruity aromas of cherry, cranberry, plum and spice. The earthy tobacco flavors and soft tannins of this great food wine will have you reaching for a second glass." Winery Notes
My #1 classic red table wine from my favorite Washington producer, good for any occasion and priced accordingly. Has an overall taste and feel of a more expensive wine, holds up well with a rare porterhouse or linguine fra diavalo!
It's a blend of 6 varietals folks. Says so on the bottle. Anyway, magnificent wine! Rich, complex, well balanced and full of great aromas and tastes. I will be getting more. A great value at under $30 and drinks like much more!!
It's actually 80% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cab Sauvignon and 1% Carmenere.
Great, everyday table wine. Balanced, a little spice. Nearly equal parts Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Normally, I don't broadly mixed varietals like this (preferring wines that are primarily one varietal with others for tuning), but this one rocks. It'll go with pretty much everything.
