Strong earthy nose. Big fruit, tannin, acid structure. Blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mouverde.

Nose: very ripe berries, including blackberry or black currant, some blueberry, some leather or tobacco to balance the fruit.
Body: medium
Intensity: high

Fore-palette: good structure from the acid level and the Syrah tannins. Again, big fruit, with some dark cherry notes.
Mid-palette: Grenache + Mourvedre comes out, softening the mouthfeel, adding some spice.
Aft-palette: Syrah taste again
Finish: Medium; wait a minute or two between mouthfuls
