Rosso di Montalcino Le Presi(2004)

Sangiovese Grosso: A traditional styled Rosso with lots of dried cherries and plums on the nose leading to a medium-bodied, fresh, and fruity palate.
Source: Morrell & Company
Rosso di Montalcino 2004 Le Presi Referred to as "baby Brunello", this Rosso is an early drinking Sangiovese that can be an exceptional value. An intense ruby red color with wonderful aromas of raspberry, and a full-bodied palate, with very silky tannins and a long, intriguing fruity finish. Great with pasta dishes, roasted meat and aged cheese.
