The 2009 vintage is administrator Philippe Dalhuin-s finest effort to date. I don-t think I have ever enjoyed a Le Petit Mouton (which represents 27% of their total production) more than his 2009, which is a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlo... The second wine, Le Petit Mouton, continues to go from strength to strength. The 2008, a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot, represents 24% of the production. Notes of incense, graphite, and black currants are followed by a wine with sweet... Robert Parker. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2008 Le Petit Mouton 750ml

A supple red, with charming cherry and plum perfume notes. Theres good focus to the cassis and blackberry fruit, which is backed by a stylish finish. Tasted non-blind.-J.M. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 Le Petit Mouton 750ml

Here comes the wine of the vintage Intense black color. Intense and very aromatic nose. This is the most aromatic of all first growths tasted during this future campaign. Upon swirling it appears pure and noble. From entry it provides strong pleasure. Developing dense very very fruity and with beautiful weaving. No doubt that this is the best weaving of Bordeaux this year. Very juicy and pure the wine evolves on fine tannins without granularity. Very beautiful aromas emerge on the finish. This is very good with great length. Jean-Marc Quarin - www.quarin.com

Barrel sample. Smooth opulent tannins lend a velvety texture. This wine shows weight and spice with potential power. Wine Enthusiast.

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2011 Le Petit Mouton (70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot) exhibits attractive, fresh black currant fruit intermixed with notions of forest floor, licorice and wood smoke. It is a lovely, round, fresh wine to drink in its first decade of life." --Robert ParkerRobert Parker Wine Advocate *We will notify you on arrival summer 2014.*
