First founded in 1871, the Sartirano familys wine business only started to develop the domestic market outside Piemonte in Italy in the 1950s, selling their wines in 54L barrels. In 1970 the family decided to bottle its wines and installed its first bottling line. San Silvestro produce great quality wines, typical of the region and competitively priced from their own grapes. Grapes : 100% Arneis Region : Italy / Piedmont / Roero Arneis DOCG Maker : Paolo Sartirano Notes : A very well structured white wine with a subtle hint of apricots and wild flowers in the background with a delightfully fresh minerality and a hint of bitterness on the finish. Serve : Chilled as an aperitif or with baked fish dishes, sushi, freshwater fish, rabbit, duck, risotto and shellfish. ABV : 13% Suitable for Vegetarians
