Sourced from a selection of vineyard sites throughout Marlborough's Wairau Valley, this Sauvignon Blanc reflects the excellent 2001 vintage. A small portion of the blend was fermented in French barriques and underwent malolactic fermentation. Ripe gooseberry and passionfruit aromas are balanced with crisp herbal flavours, good palate weight and a long fresh finish.
