Lavradores de Feitoria Duoro 2006
Tasting Notes: Rated 89 POINTS in Vinhos de Portugal 2008 book by Joao Paulo Martins. "The wine changed its profile somewhat versus the previous vintage; it is greener, more vegetal, less fruity and more elegant in style. Very well proportioned in the mouth, perfect acidity for the style; everything pointing to consumption whilst young particularly when accompanied by seafood dishes." by Joao Paulo Martins. A nice wine with a Spanish entre' which we had at Alto Cinco on Westcott in Syracuse. Oh yea, did I say at a good value?
Great wine, y'all should come to Belgium - we sell it for €7.5 here www.brutbrut.be - but then, if taking a plane, why not fly to the Douro and visit the producers?
