Laurenz V. Grüner Veltliner Friendly 2007
Laurenz V focuses solely on the Austrian hallmark variety Grüner Veltliner. And this is an unique initiative. Along with the recently launched "Charming Gruner Veltliner" the new wine shows the power of Austria's most important grape variety: seductive fruitiness, pleasant spiciness, and a finish so refreshing, that it commands a second glass be filled immediately! The grapes for the Friendly Gruner are grown in the Kamptal region of Austria. Here, the Grüner Veltliner ripens in granite, gneiss, mica-slate as well as loess soils. And from the neighboring region to the north, the rugged Waldviertel, blows cool air that substantially lowers night temperatures in the Kamptal; this in turn slows up the ripening process of the grapes. But these conditions are exactly why the wines from this region taste so fresh and fruity. With a more discreet label Friendly Grüner Veltliner is drier and shows even more freshness. Predominately Kamptal fruit plus some grapes from the neighbouring Kremstal region. Friendly Grüner Veltliner offers elegance and finesse, distinctive fruity character and a rewarding finish - Let's get Friendly!
STRICTLY GRÜNER & SHEER DRINKING PLEASURE
