Laurent-Perrier Champagne Cuvée Rosé Brut NV

Winemaker's Notes:

Aspect: Salmon-pink in colour. Aroma: Precise and very crisp with a lasting impression of freshness, it has hints of soft red fruits, such as strawberries, redcurrants, raspberries and black cherries. Taste: Intensely fruity flavours begin clean and well-defined upon entry, the wine then opens up to provide a melange of flavours consisting of fresh strawberries, raspberries and wild cherries. It has great length and is rounded and supple on the finish. Serving: The Cuvée Rosé makes a delicious apéritif. It pairs very well with charcuterie and poultry, and is an extraordinary match for red fruit desserts. The more daring will try it with Asian cuisine.

This success derives, first and foremost, from a clear determination to abide by long-established traditions: respect for nature and wine, dedication to quality, and strong and lasting relationships with all those associated with the company, within and without. It is also the result of the sheer driving force of Bernard de Nonancourt, the creator of the Laurent-Perrier range, and that of his daughters, Alexandra and Stéphanie, who are concentrating their own energies on preserving the Group’s independence and perpetuating its values. This bright and flavorful brut combines vibrant apple and mellow vanilla notes on a firm texture of acidity and fine bubbles. The tangy fruit character lingers nicely on the finish. Drink now through 2001.

A lean, bracing version, with lemon, grapefruit and yeast notes. This is dry, but stingy in flavor and richness, with a mineral finish. Best from 2010 through 2013.

Bright orange-pink. Powerful aromas of raspberry, rhubarb, fresh flowers and Asian spices, with a toasty element in the background. Intense red fruit flavors are braced by tangy acidity and pick up notes of anise and toasty lees with air. Bright a... Stephen Tanzers IWC. A Champagne Blend wine from Champagne in France. N.V. Well-melded nose. Some age and development on the palate. Character and depth and a bit of astringency on the finish. Jancis Robinson.
