External Reviews for Laurent-Perrier "Brut" France Champagne
Klassisches Bukett mit leicht hefigen Brotrindenaromen, angenehme Fruchtaromatik. Am Gaumen frische Aromen von grünen Äpfeln, finess enreich, ausgeglichen und körperreich, angenehm im Abgang.
Deep aromas of citrus skin, smoke, minerals and spices, with a saline complexity. Ripe on entry, then dense and concentrated but pliant and very smooth. Leads with its strong, clear fruit tones of orange sorbet and lemon. Very ripe, accessible, well-balanced Champagne with excellent lingering fruit. In my tastings in recent years, this has consistently been among the best non-vintage brut bottlings from the major Champagne houses.
Pale gold with a delicate and fine bead. Subtle spice and hints of citrus. Warm toasty notes balance the freshness of fruit. Medium bodied and very easy on the palate. Perfectly balanced: a soft mouthfeel belies the strong structure of the wine. Finishes clean yet delicately lingers.
