RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Wine Advocate ReviewRated 91The 2005 Las Rocas Vinyas Viejas comes from high altitude, low yielding, 100+-year-old Grenache vines and is aged in French and American oak. More aromatic than its sibling, it has a splendid perfume of spice box, lavender, kirsch, and blueberry. It is also a bit richer and longer in the finish. While it may evolve for 1-2 years, who could resist it now?Wine Tasting NotesThe Vinas Viejas is the big brother to the regular Garnacha. Made from 100% old vine Garnacha (a minimum of 45 year old), grown in non-irrigated vineyards, the Vinas Viejas is polished, elegant and layered with soft lush fruit. Aged in American oak (60%) and French oak barrels (40%) it has a complexity and flavor profile unheard of at this price point.
