Belonging to the community of Calatayud from the re-conquest of Alfonso I until 1834. At the centre of its urban neighbourhood rises the church of San Pedro Apóstol made in the mudejar style, which it lies next to the exceptional communal Tower in the gothic style and built using cut-stone masonry. At the beginning of the 17th century, the mudejar-style Convent of the Reverendas Concepcionistas Franciscanas was built, where the remainders of San Alejandro currently remain in honour of whom the main town festivities are held from the 12th to the 16th of May. All acid until it sat in my glass for an hour. Then just hot/warm. What a disappointment from what I tasted in the store.

Fantastic wine from North Central Spain (Catalayud). Rich nose of berries, cherries and plums with some leather. The flavors just explode in your mouth with very little tannins and a slight acidity. Long finish and very complex. Purchased at wine.com Dec 2013, enjoyed at Ann's during NFC Playoffs in Jan 2014. Will buy this again.
