RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
Immediately after opening still very closed. Almost no aromas. 4 hours later (the bottle should be empty by then) still no aromas, maybe some earthy ones. In the mouth it's mainly acidity. Towards the end it turns a little bit bitter. Rather long aftertaste, but with the bitterness it is not really enjoyable. Forget about the hype and taste this champagne before buying it. And think what nice wines you could buy for that money. I will never buy this champagne again.
It's got this amazing LEVITY about it and green apple notes. Done organically and biodynamically, which doesn't mean much when it comes to wine (if the wine is made with care from the best grapes anyway) so perhaps more importantly, this wine is made by a woman named Anne Claude Leflaive to her exacting standards.
Enjoyed it very much, 4out of 5.

Firm, chalky acidity structures this on the austere side of the spectrum, but the wine finds balance with green apple, pear and lemon cake flavors. Finely textured, with a mineral note that lingers on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2019. -AN Wine Spectator. A Champagne Blend wine from Champagne in France. N.V. Dry and mineral-driven on the palate with a earthy apple fruit aromas and precise red berries on the finish. Excellent with seafood fare. Drink lightly chilled.
($70) Deep pink. Musky redcurrant and strawberry on the nose, with exotic licorice and violet qualities adding interest. Fleshy red fruit flavors offer impressive depth, with a firming edge of amaro-like bitterness carrying through the finish. This i... Stephen Tanzer's IWC. This non vintage Champagne is, in fact, all from the 2004 vintage. However, it was released for sale just shy of 4 years after the harvest and therefore could not be listed as a vintage Grand Cru. Dry, mineral driven with brine aromas reminiscent of the sea.
A blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot noir, which has yeasty, biscuity characters, a creamy mid-palate, finesse, delicacy and gentle, dry zesty acidity
