Very nice vanilla laced nose, firm nose, lean fruit framed with tight grained wood tones, snappy, clear, lovely transparency, lovely precision to the fruit, blue and red fruit, lots of tannins which are a bit dry but there is an innate sweetness here, lovely purity to the fruit, aromatic length, love to see this relax, 90pts
Very precise and focused on the nose with a fine, sweet herbal edge and some cedar oak hightones framing a core of tomato and currant fruit. Smooth and moderately rich considering its mid-weight size, this covers the palate with chocolate toned plum and red currant fruit. there's a gentle, and slightly creamy, oak note here as this flows to a clean, fresh and moderately long finish with a nice pop of candied berry fruit on the finale. Shows a nice blend of sophistication and purity. 87pts

a smokiness with red raspberries coursing underneath mixed with darker berry fruit, nice spice notes, beautifully balanced with a hot finish
Raspberry, blueberry, soil, and pencil shavings on the nose. Shows a fleshy mouthfeel, with red and blue fruit up front. Some bitterness and menthol on a medium plus finish. Very young wine, but not flagrantly new world in style. There's plenty of old-school rustic earthiness to balance the fruit. Overall a decent drink the ends with a question mark.
Big and rich, fresh and juicy. Wonderful value. Strong blackberry aroma with hints of cedar and cherry. Powerful palate with continued blackberry that slowly evolves into a velvety finish. Hints of cherry and cola. Great example of a Carmenere.
The nose showed wild berries, pepper and undergrowth with a cloak of dark oak. On the palate, a dense, velvety wave of dark chocolate, blackberry and green pepper washed across the senses. The long finish showed tart berries.
Dense in the glass. At first, it has a roasty, gamy nose. very savory. Some hints of green herbs. Some funky earth notes. Musty. Some nutmeg and pepper along with purple and red fruit. On the palate, there's big acid. It's young and vibrant and a bit bracing. Very ripe fruit. It's got a rich texture amidst lingering acidity. A tad young for my style, but some time and air on it and it continues to improve.
Good cabernet, average for the price $12.99

A fresh, juicy Cabernet, featuring a solid core of blackberry and currant fruit, with hints of spice flickering on the finish. Drink now.
This friendly red offers a nice beam of briar, raspberry and blackberry fruit, wrapped with judicious toast on the finish. Drink now.
Firm, toasty aromas blend well with cherry and plum notes. The palate is healthy in feel, with good depth and balance. Tastes lightly herbal, but the heavy lifting is handled by black fruit and chocolate flavors. Peppery on the finish and very solid as a whole.
Ruby-red. Spiced cherry and blackberry aromas display good freshness, with brightening zesty minerality. Tightly wound red berry flavors are concentrated and rather firm, opening slowly and gaining some sweetness on the finish. This needs some cellaring, or time in the decanter.
Medium red. Red berries and spiced plum on the nose, with a light mineral quality adding energy. Silky in texture, with midweight raspberry and bitter chocolate flavors and good finishing grip. Attractively fresh wine.
A perennial Best buy Cab. The nose is smoky and rock-solid, with clean berry fruit and muscle. The palate is lively and secure, with balance, firm tannins, proper acidity and a tasty mix of cocoa, herbs and berry fruit. Finishes on the spot. Top flight in the under $15 category.
Juicy layers of raspberry, vanilla and cassis bush are backed by a bouncy, slightly raisined finish. Also contains Carmenère, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2009.
Color: Deep red with dark purple hints. Nose: Intense and expressive nose with garnet and fresh red fruit, but yet elegant with subtle sweet spiced from a well integrated oak. Palate: Intense mouth feel with a broad tannic structure, lingering towards fresh red fruit flavors. A concentrated body, which will enable a long bottle ageing. Service and Food Pairing: Ideal companion for meats and elaborate dishes.
