LangeTwins is a multi-generational family winery that handcrafts wines from sustainably grown winegrapes in the Lodi appellation of California.
Very ripe nose, a little bit funky. Peachy mouth with a quick finish.
The nose offers a little bit of grassiness and herbs combined with lemon, lime, citrus fruit. But a weird herbal-ness on the palate, slight nuttiness, almonds. Interesting characteristics
A little BO on the nose. Grassy, mineral, green pepper. Seems well-made but not quite my style.
Peach and grass and gooseberry up front. Oily with a muted flavor, although mint and grass came through. The wine is crisp and has a tart, lemon-grass, finish
Chestnut aroma, interesting maybe autumnal flavor.
Smelled oddly to me of a roasted meat, a little nutty. Smooth, tasted slightly of pears.
Four and a half glasses
