Langetwins Red Bordeaux Blend Lodi Midnight Reserve 2006
Our 2006 Midnight Reserve is an all around beautiful wine starting with the first glimpse of its deep red-brick color. A quick swirl around the glass releases pure ripe cherry, dried red raspberry, and a touch of mocha. The aroma carries over to the flavors, and mingles with a light warm-vanilla spice. Rounding out with a full-structured body and a soft mouth feel, it finishes with a silky smooth texture. It is an elegant wine that you will not want to put down! Blend Composition: 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Petit Verdot, 13% Merlot, 3% Malbec.

Chalky and inky, with very striking black fruit flavors on the mouth. It's a bit dry, and has pretty good length.
A big noseful of fresh blackberry and raspberry fruit. Flavors are fresh and ripe, full of red fruit, raspberries and cherries. It has a very imposing attack, and a shorter finish that exhibits good acidity and tannin.
Second tasting of this one - it's warm and full of deep black fruit. A little hint of molasses sweetness and a bit of green bell pepper grace the midpalate to the finish.
Jam and dust on the nose. Brambly christmas spice, eucalyptus, and cedar - extremely tannic with a long silky finish. Still love it.
Big oafy ripe fruit on the nose with a soft spicy note. Deliciously complex notes of chocolate, cedar, oak. Moderate spice that builds to a well-balanced crescendo. Amazingly balanced.
Very inky black wine, with powerful notes of vanilla and oak. A very smooth, silky wine with blackcurrants, black berry and mint notes. Very nice warm, round finish.
Nice complexity with a medium body. The dark and red fruit flavors permeate the taste. Also, a nice hint of pepper.
