Langetwins Petite Verdot/Petite Sirah 2008
As the Petite Sirah Petit Verdot hits your palate, the concentrated blueberry flavor with freshness is apparent in both the aroma and taste. There is a trace of perfume that adds an interesting layer and well-integrated tannins that give it perfect structure. This straightforward wine has a youthful quality that is easy to enjoy!

The aroma is strong with sweet smoked pork given by the oak, with blueberry and plum fruits. The attack is very gentle, with very mild acids and soft tannins, with strawberries on the release.
Juicy and inky black, with ripe blackberry aromas. Big acidic wine, dark chocolate and black olive flavors. Finishes long and rustic.
tinges of black and red licorice on the nose combined with blackberry fruit and plums. the palate has some heat, dark fruit and jam characteristics with a little hints of peppery spices
Sweet syrupy nose with a little funk and game. Rich inky black cherry with a floral element and a christmas spiced finish. Dark and heavy with a complex mineral bready finish. Very interesting.
Black licorice, cherry and candied fruits on the nose. White pepper notes, but not overly spicy, the main flavors are of plums and cherries and blackberries. Smooth and sweet fruity finish.
Smells a little like sangria but is much drier in the mouth, with plum and blackberry and a wooded finish.
Bright purple color. Light berry nose with just a little bit of funk. Simple, syrupy and sweet at first, then becomes recognizable as petite sirah only in the finish as some meaty and peppery notes emerge. A little too simple now but could show nice potential after some time in the cellar.
