Winemaker's Notes:

Our Estate Grown Miller Merlot Vineyard in the Clarksburg Appellation consistently creates a full structured wine with berry fruit flavors. With the cold evenings and breezy afternoons, the conditions are ideal to create a balanced wine with strong fruit flavors. A light berry and soft pepper aroma compliments the raspberry-cherry pie flavors when you take your first sip. While it sits on your palate a nice milk chocolate blends into the berries, creating an interesting layer to this fullstructured wine. When the wine finishes, there is a smooth spice present that comes from an average of 14 months of oak aging in French and American Oak Barrels.

rich black cherry fruit with notes of chocolate and vanilla spice from oak aging create a welcoming aroma. The tannin, more complex and broader due to the blending of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, leaves the impression of a wine with weight but no rough edges and blankets the palate with a soft, velvety finish.
