- These lots and barrels are consistently the stand-outs of the vintage, the best vineyard sites and the best tasting barrels within these lots. The intensity and balance of flavors are such that extended sur-lie aging enhances the richness and complexity of these barrels. They will stay undisturbed for an additional two or three months without further batonnage or stirring.
