Editorial Reviews for Lamoreaux Landing Riesling Finger Lakes Semi-Dry
Lovely light hand here with floral notes and granite mineral spice tones greeting the nose. There’s some sweet, peachy fruit here along with a faint touch of red fruit. Noticeably sweet in the mouth though held together well with nice, tense acids. The fruit has an edge of bitter apple to it adding to the tension in the mouth. Really lovely mouthfeel, a bit round from the sugar but nervous as well with fine apple and light peach fruit tones that are rich and precise and drive out over the moderately long finish. The finish shows some subtle mineral and woodsy/stemmy tones before the sugar reapplies the fruit. Lovely effort. 88pts
Much deeper on the nose with some rich fruit that leads to a bouquet of stone fruit, honeysuckle and a hint of lemon. This could pair well with a nice spread of cheeses and appetizers

Pale gold color. Full acidity. Moderately extracted. Sweet citrus, minerals. Crisp aromas lead a high-toned palate with tingling acidity and a solid minerally backbone. This is well structured and should develop more character with some bottle age.
Lavender honey and lanolin notes are warm and enticing in this semisweet Riesling from Lamoreaux Landing. A tad sugary on the attack, it gains balance on the midpalate thanks to delicate green floral tones and ample notes of bitter lemon pith.
Vibrant aromas and flavors of apricots and peaches in this wine are enhanced by just the right balance of sweetness and acidity. This Riesling is the perfect complement for many types of spicy cuisines.
A classic Lamoreaux Riesling, full of intense Riesling character with its stunning pear, pineapple and peach flavor profile. A beautifully balanced, slightly sweet wine, it stands very well on its own, but is also very food-friendly. Try with salty foods, especially cheeses and foods with some sweetness, such as fruit. Also good with spicy cuisine.
This fulsome white has a pronounced floral scent, suggesting rose and honeysuckle. Its richness fills the middle palate, the modest sweetness contributing concentration before a long finish marked by flower petal savor. Thereandrsquo;s plenty of complexity apparent, but the wine will benefit from another six months to a year of bottle age.
Juicy, with a flattering, off-dry feel to the anise, McIntosh apple and pear notes. Drink now.
A light, breezy style, with modest green apple and green fig notes that lead to a friendly finish. Drink now.
