Pale gold. Moderately light-bodied. Full acidity. Subtly extracted. Acids blanket fruit flavors.
A round, full character with ample layers of creamy spice and balanced acid recommend this elegant, more traditional Chardonnay from the Finger Lakes. The mouthfeel is full but poised, and the finish long.
Fresh and forward, with nice unadorned yellow apple and floral notes that linger on the finish, where a hint of hazelnut chimes in. Drink now.
One of New York's finest, this world class Chardonnay is a prime example of the quality that can be achieved in the Finger Lakes. The nose consists of complex smoke and citrus notes which lead to pineapple and grapefruit flavors that explode with a mouthwatering finish.
The search for quality wines need not go any further than our own backyard. One fine example is this Burgundain style Chardonnay produced at Lake Seneca in the Finger Lakes region. Citric and tropical fruit aromas with hints of toasty oak and vanilla are a prelude to pineapple and grapefruit flavors that harmonize with a well balanced, but not overdone, oak character. A well made wine to be enjoyed with summertime cuisine.
Offers a mouth-watering array of tropical fruit and melon flavors, balanced with just enough oak for a mellow finish. Serve with seafood entrées, chicken, or Fettuccine Alfredo and wait for the compliments!
