Lai Lai Pinot Noir Chile Red 2009

Member Review by Kate Statton:

A little oaky and woody on the nose with a muffled new carpet smell, or something like that. A little barbecue smokiness with something that smells like new books. Is that leather? Rich in the mouth but without overt juiciness or sweetness. Has a nice balance between acid and tannin.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Four glasses

A strong, oaky aroma that echoes in the flavor and combines with spices and cola. A powerful flavor and finish.
