Laguna Canyon Winery Zinfandel/Syrah Blend-Mendocino(2004)

60 % Zinfandel and 40 % Syrah produce blackberry and cherry flavors yielding dominate fruit in this full-bodied wine. 24 months in French oak barrels adds a delicate vanilla and toasted aroma to its bouquet. Drink this wine now or be patient and age it for one or two years to obtain a fantastic wine for the best occasions. Roasted red meat or lamb is a good pair for this wine. Excellent for coq au vin or braised venison.
