- What a lovely nose, immediately mineral driven with a very smoky overlay and a big white pepper crusted bresaola top note. Slowly the core of very ripe black raspberry fruit emerges with complicating notes of green olive, green coffee bean, and grilled bratwurst emerge making my mouth water. In the mouth this is medium bodied with fine balance and bright acids supporting seared cherry fruit with background notes of clay tile and a flourish of fresh herbs on the backend. This gains a lovely, plush feel with air though remains firmly and femininely medium weight though the mineral vein asserts itself read more...across the midpalate adding refreshing cut. Nice length with a lovely balsamic note on the finale. Great bottle of Lagrein 91pts (hide)
