Ladoucette Pouilly-Fume 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

"Bold lemon verbena aroma, with a richly layered palate of straw, wet stones, lemon cream and citrus peel. Long, creamy finish then takes over to complete the picture "

de Ladoucette:
The Comte Lafond bought the Chateau de Nozet estate in 1787 from the illegitimate daughter of King Louis XV  and it has been owned and run by his descendant Baron Patrick de Ladoucette since 1972. He also owns other Loire and Chablis wine estates. It consists of 65 acres and uses both estate and purchased grapes to make Pouilly Fume de Ladoucette wine.
