The Comte Lafond bought the Chateau de Nozet estate in 1787 from the illegitimate daughter of King Louis XV and it has been owned and run by his descendant Baron Patrick de Ladoucette since 1972. He also owns other Loire and Chablis wine estates. It consists of 65 acres and uses both estate and purchased grapes to make Pouilly Fume de Ladoucette wine.
