This was my first year experiencing the Beaujolais Nouveau phenomena and I absolutely loved this bottle. It was very tangy, fruity, and spicy.
Nice light straw color. Quite Chablis-like on the nose with mineral water and cooked apple predominating. Good Chardonnay flavor profile with more baked apple, and mineral notes backed up with a medium finish. Soft, warm and balanced but lacking deep sophistication or charm. Good, every-day Pouilly-Fuissé.
Lemon/wheat nose, vanilla and touch of oak on palate.

Chateau Laboure Roi Meursault Bouches Cheres 2007 has the golden yellow with green tints. Aroma is of ripe exotic fruits as pineapple and passion fruits complemented by notes of hazelnut and honey. The taste is the round and opulent mouthfeel and rich fruit flavor is balanced by acidity and a touch of minerality.
Established in 1832, Labouré-Roi is one of the largest wine houses in Burgundy, producing wines which respect their history, culture and terroir.
