Maison Labouré-Roi has had a long-term relationship with the René Manuel estate in Meursault and has now taken over completely as the wines are labeled exclusively as Domaine Labouré-Roi. With the exception of the Chablis le Beaunois, I tasted these wines in Burgundy in February, 2004. The Labouré-Roi wines are often good values though it's necessary to pick and choose among them as some offerings are a bit too commercial in style to please purists. (Palm Bay Imports, Syosset, NY).
