La Yunta Red Blend Tinto 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Winemakers: Héctor and Pablo Durigutti. Aged in American oak studded concrete tanks for 12 months. Forward aromas and flavors of bing cherries, plums, and figs. On the palate, the wine is soft, with a refreshing lemon-driven finish due to the small amount of Torrontés in the blend. We love it with grilled sausages, and also enjoy serving it just below cellar temperature during hot summer evenings.

Lacked the full body and smooth finish of the Cabernet Sauvignon and the richness of the Malbec. Most noticeable flavor was cherry.
