- This wine is ruby-red color with violet tones when young, turning to light garnet when mature. Spicy blackberry and cherry notes on the nose that on the palate develop into deep berry fruit flavors accented by hints of soft leather, tobacco and mint. Rich, soft and medium-bodied. Great with grilled meats and soft cheeses.
