Lots of personality in this medium-bodied, earth-driven, traditional red. Digs into the soil and comes out with the goods: nice fruit, wet stones and mineral complexity in a subtle but ripe package. Chewy but sweet tannins on the lingering, distinctive, fresh finish. Drink now through 2006. -Wine Spectator
